Godzilla x Kong About Dan Stevens:

Stevens was raised by teachers and was adopted at birth. Stevens was raised in southeast England and Wales. He has a younger brother, Jason Andrew Stevens. Stevens boarded on a scholarship at Tonbridge School, a private school in Kent. After trying out for the lead in Macbeth alongside his mentor, author Jonathan Smith, he developed an interest in theater there. He trained and performed with the National Youth Theatre in London over the summers starting when he was fifteen years old.

Stevens studied English Literature at Emmanuel College, Cambridge. He was one of the Footlights at Cambridge, alongside Stefan Golaszewski, Mark Watson, and Tim Key. He participated in the Marlowe Society as well. Director Peter Hall saw him for the first time in the Marlowe Society’s staging of Macbeth. Stevens wed Susie Harriet, a singing instructor and jazz vocalist from South Africa, in 2009. They have three children. He is fluent in English, French, and German.

Hall was born in London on May 3, 1982. She is the daughter of American opera singer Maria Ewing and English stage director and founder of the Royal Shakespeare Company, Sir Peter Hall. Her mother was born in Detroit to an African-American mixed-race father and a Dutch mother. He is a descendant of Revolutionary War veteran Bazil Norman. He is a free black man. In Finding Your Roots, Hall discovers that his maternal grandfather, Norman Isaac Ewing, acted as a Native American figure.  Hall’s great-grandfather, John William Ewing, was born into slavery in Washington, D.C. He became a prominent figure in the black community.
Hall’s Ancestry.com DNA test results show that he is 91% European and 9% sub-Saharan African.

Hall’s parents separated when she was young, divorcing in 1990. Edward Hall, the stage director, Emma Hall, the producer Christopher Hall, set designer Lucy Hall, and actress Jennifer Caron Hall are the five paternal half-siblings of Hall.

Hall became head girl at Roedean School, where she attended. Before departing in 2002, just before her final year, she studied English literature at St. Catharine’s College in Cambridge. She was active in the Cambridge student theatrical scene and started her own play company. As a housemate of English literature major Dan Stevens from Emmanuel College, she took part in several productions as a member of the Marlowe Society.

Hall’s first professional role came in 1992. When she was nine she appeared as young Sophie in her father’s television adaptation of Mary Weasley’s The Chamomile Lawn. In 2006, she made her feature film debut as Rebecca Epstein in David Nicholls’ film adaptation of Starter for Ten. She had her breakthrough role as Sarah Bourdain in Christopher Nolan’s The Prestige. He then appeared in Stephen Poliakoff’s Joe’s Palace in 2007. Wide also appeared in several other television films, including Sargasso Sea and Rubberheart.

Hall’s Hollywood fame grew when she starred as one of the title characters, Vicky, in Woody Allen’s film Vicky Cristina Barcelona (2008). His performance was well appreciated. She was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress—Motion Picture Musical or Comedy. She played Michael Sheen’s girlfriend, David Frost, in Ron Howard’s historical film Frost/Nixon (2008). The following year he starred in the British fantasy-horror film Dorian Gray, based on Oscar Wilde’s 1890 novel The Picture of Dorian Gray.

Wingard was born in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, and graduated from Full Sail University in 2002.

Starz/Anchor Bay purchased the movie during the festival to be released in North American theaters and on home media. The four-part anthology What Fun We Were Having: Four Stories About Date Rape had its debut at the 2011 Fantastic Film Festival in Montreal, Canada. The festival designated Wingard as an honoree and included a sidebar segment titled “Spotlight on Filmmaker Adam Wingard in Medicated Monsters” to recognize him.
